Pittsburgh Fashion Week Internships

Fashion Intern

Students will have the opportunity to learn and develop fashion and business skills with a wide variety of applications. Interns are expected to compile logistics information, perform behind-the-scenes duties, and conduct market research for all.

Responsibilities include:

• Strong ability to multi-task with attention to detail

• Flexibility and adaptability to flex between various job functions

• Familiarity with using Google Shared Drive

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Passion for fashion and knowledge of industry trends

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Demonstrate collaborative skills to work closely with our Fashion Coordinator and Team

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Phone and email correspondence with our contacts and team to ensure effective communication

Additional responsibilities include contacting potential vendors, contractors, and volunteers for events. The fashion intern will complete tasks to the best of their ability and work closely on assignments with the guidance of our fashion coordinator. Other duties may include general office work. All interns, just like all staff, may be asked to assist with miscellaneous projects as they arise, based on the organization’s needs. You will be part of a small and diverse team that makes a large impact.
