The application process

At Pittsburgh Fashion Week, we want to showcase Pittsburgh’s exceptional. This includes its people. 

The space for models in our annual runway show is however limited. This necessitated a model call and process for selecting the models to participate.

Firstly, models apply to participate in the fashion show via our website. The Deadline for application is June 25th, 2024.

From there, the process will be as follows:

Initial Screening

Our model agency partner, Docherty, our designers, and Pittsburgh Fashion Week, will do an initial screening of all applications received.

In-person casting call

After the initial screening, models will be chosen for the next selection round.

They will receive a casting date and be invited to attend an in-person casting call at Docherty.

The Pittsburgh Fashion Week designers will also be present.

Based on their feedback, a final list of models for the runway show will be compiled.

This is expected to happen by the end of July 2024.

Runway Workshop

Models selected to take part in the runway show will attend a runway workshop which is expected to take place in August 2024.
