The Pittsburgh Fashion Alliance (PGHFA) was founded in 2019. The PGHFA has been created to stimulate growth and provide leadership in regards to the fashion industry of Pittsburgh. The organization's goal is to bring all parties interested in a career in fashion the necessary skill level to succeed in the industry. One way we will achieve this objective will be through education.

PGHFA will offer workshops, lectures, classes, social gatherings and of course, more fashion shows. Soon, we will offer courses to members in the following fields: Sewing Skills - Beginners 101, Marketing 101 and how to write a business plan.

The goals of PGHFA are as follows:

• Bring Pittsburgh-based designers and boutiques together with the goal that boutiques will carry designer lines.

• Offer discounts and a VIP ticket program to fashion shows and related events. 

• Collaborate with educational institutions for business and other classes.

• Establish a mentorship program for new designers. 

All of the above amenities will be offered to members of PGHFA.
